As a Project Controls Lead at Linesight, you will work in large life sciences CAPEX projects with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. In this role you will:
- Assess engineer and contractor bids, change notices and costs to ensure best value for clients
- Assist in preparing client project funding documents
- Be a visible leader onsite, assessing engineer and contractor progress
- Create and manage cost forecasts for key client developments
- Expertly negotiate agreements with pricing agreements with external partners
- Manage and monitor project schedules, reporting on exceptions to the plan
- Prepare owner estimates and lead estimate review meetings
- Proactively lead risk management efforts and reviews
- Support the final reconciliation of contracts and purchase orders
- Update key partners with monthly executive and project status reports, project schedule updates, and project risks
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline such as Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Have successfully performed project controls roles including cost control, scheduling and estimating, preferably in large pharmaceutical or life sciences construction projects
- Have previous experience with an EPC organization, general contractor or consultancy
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, as well as presentation and influencing skills
- Are fluent in English and German both orally and written
- Have expertise in Primavera P6
- Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
