Project description

We're looking for a Performance Testing Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an international, collaborative environment as we transform our systems and adopt innovative technology solutions. You will work closely with different teams, sharing your technical expertise and helping improve the performance and reliability of our core banking systems.

You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on system performance, data growth, and the continuous improvement of our IT systems. You'll have the chance to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, contributing to various areas of Technical Application Management.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, execute, and report on performance tests for Avaloq and web applications.

Enhance and maintain the testing tools we use (C-Sharp for Avaloq and JMeter/Java for web testing).

Work closely with third-party providers and internal teams to align testing efforts.

Collaborate to improve our performance testing processes and tools.

Skills

Must have

A degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in performance testing, with experience using JMeter for web testing.

Experience with Avaloq or knowledge of the Avaloq Smart Client in-house framework.

Intermediate knowledge of C-Sharp and Java.

Familiarity with UNIX and Windows administration.

Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.

A proactive, self-starter attitude with a focus on results.

Excellent analytical thinking, with an organized and structured approach to your work.

A strong team player with good communication skills, both written and spoken in English.

Nice to have

Knowledge of German is a plus but not essential.
