HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
- Develop and implement template radio architectures, tailoring them to project requirements and integrating performance characteristics according to customer specifications
- Configure and optimize Data Communication Systems (DCS) for Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC Systems)
- Evaluate DCS Design and Architecture to enhance system architecture focusing on Network Security aspects
- Manage network administration for CBTC Communication Components
- Conduct system testing and validation of DCS reference architecture and design
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering from a recognized university with a specialization in wired and wireless network technologies (Wi-Fi and LTE)
- Proficient in principles, practices, methods, and emerging trends in communications engineering such as radio frequency allocations, signal strength measurements, and tolerances
- Hands-on experience in radio design (radio propagation, network layout, antenna selection, fast roaming, radio interference survey, and radio link budget) and network configuration (layer 2 & 3)
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage
