As a KYC Specialist in the Employee Banking team, you will independently perform periodic Know-your-Client (KYC) reviews of Bank Julius Baer clients

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Perform detailed periodic KYC reviews of accounts (individual, joint, trusts and legal entities) to ensure compliance with the bank’s guidelines, regulations, and policies. This includes verifying the plausibility of documented KYC information
• Reviewing corroboration documents and assessing potential reputational risks
• Review and verify client documentation to ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory standards
• Work proactively with compliance, FRM, and other relevant departments to address account-related issues
• Identify and escalate elevated ML risks, account abuse, potential money laundering or sanctions concerns, and initiated appropriate mitigation or clarification procedures

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Experience in KYC/AML Compliance, preferably within the financial services industry
• Proven experience in handling complex structures, including trusts, corporations and other entities
• Experience in transactional monitoring to identify and recognize unusual behavior is essential
• Excellent written and spoken language skills in both English and German; additional languages are a plus
• Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness
• High degree of independence as well as proactivity
• Meticulous and detail-oriented work approach the and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational abilities
