Purpose
The subregional Head of Quality Management supports the Global Compliance objectives of the centrally managed global programs including but not limited to ISO, SOC, and PCI as well as locally mandated regulatory compliance requirements.
This role is empowered to drive operational consistency and compliance within their region and has a key role in identifying any operational nonconformance through internal audit, agreeing corrective actions with stakeholders to address non-conformance, and monitoring corrective action process through closure.
Prepare detailed written reports for distribution to regional operational, Quality, and Global Compliance leadership teams. Reporting will include, but not be limited to nonconformance, risk mitigation, external audit preparation, and other key activities as defined by the Global Compliance program schedule.
Responsabilities & Duties
- All quality management responsibilities and duties described below are under the governance of Global Compliance leadership, programs, and initiatives.
- Undertake effective internal audits at sites
- Identify any nonconformance against global operating procedures
- Effective reporting of nonconformance and status of key compliance activities
- Ability to provide detailed written reports to provide insight into operational performance
- Completion of internal audit and accurately assess operational compliance at the data center
- Manage corrective action process ensuring remediation tasks are agreed with relevant stakeholders through to closure
- Ensure on-time completion and submission of stakeholder evidence submission, COE Audits, Risk Assessments / Aspects & Impacts registers, Security Self Assessments, Quarterly Access Reviews – Logical, Quarterly Access Reviews – Physical.
- Energy Performance Metrics
- Monitoring energy performance (PUE) and accuracy of monthly data
- Ensuring effective controls are implemented
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of all evidence related to external audit activity
- Responsible for driving on time submission/delivery of evidence per defined global audit schedules
- Supporting the effective implementation of the Global Compliance programs in the sub-region, as related (but not limited) to Information Security (ISO27001), Business Continuity (ISO22301), Energy Management (ISO50001), PCI-DSS and Service Organization Controls (SOC2 type 1 and 2 reporting).
- Reporting and/or escalating to the Regional Quality Manager any findings that may require a solution from the Global Process Owner (GPO) to ensure these are handled according to the global standards, and, where applicable, aligned local processes and procedures.
- Monitoring legal compliance and communicating changes and, where necessary, involving the Subregional Operations teams.
- Responsible for and conducting the yearly legal audits in the Subregion.
- Reviewing the local business continuity plans and coordinating the associated business continuity test exercises in the subregion to help build preparedness against potential threats.
what you’ll need
- Educated to a technical degree at bachelor level or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as Quality Manager
- Experience in a leading quality role in an industrial, critical environment is a bonus.
- Fluent in English, both written and orally
