IS Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead defined service lines in the design and development of end-to-end lifecycle roadmaps and effective and efficient delivery of services together with a team of dedicated internal and external suppliers. Each day, you will be responsible to design, implement, and maintain the framework to deliver the services in scope, on time, within budget, and in line with the customer’s expectations. You will also showcase your expertise by managing multiple third-party global vendor contracts to assure high service quality and optimizing the cost. The work model for the role is #LI #Onsite This role is contributing to the IS Services in India/ Globally. You will be mainly accountable for: • Partners with the IS Business Process and Product Owners and all other IS organization leaders to ensure the delivery of the supply services based on the deliverables agreed in the Service Agreement as well as projects • Is accountable for each solution and service architecture, in line with corporate standards and service model and governance defined • Ensures multiple and cross-domain Department delivery initiatives are aligned, effectively assigned and deliver added value for the domain department services • Is accountable for Domain’s service lifecycle together with the service owners (innovation, onboarding, decommissioning, end of life, minor and major changes, …) • Is accountable for End-to-End effective and efficient delivery of domain services as assigned and requested across all business domains department • Delivers IS service/support of the relevant practice within ABB Group supporting execution of requirements within budgeted costs and time schedule • Is accountable for ensuring delivery of services in scope as agreed in Business SLAs, escalates systemic violations of service targets by service providers. • Is accountable for end-to-end service levels by reconciling supplier service levels and implement Operation Level Agreements (OLAs) where necessary • Collaborates with all relevant IS departments and other key stakeholders to create integrated, business process-oriented SLAs • Is accountable to the IS internal and cross-functional processes are correctly applied at domain level • Is accountable for domain service portfolio

Qualifications for the role

• Master’s degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering, or similar
• Superior IS development and operations skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies
• Superior experience in leading IS people who do not report directly
• Superior experience of identifying and resolving issues between team members or other teams
• Superior experience in problem solving and crisis-management concepts
• Excellent in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• ITIL 4 foundation certification is a must
