Duties

  • Sets up bars with beverages and condiments prior to opening the bar.
  • Cleans equipment, glasses and utensils and the bar area on a continuing basis.
  • Replenishes supplies as necessary and disposes of waste materials.
  • Unloads and stacks supplies for storage.
  • Prepares simple garnishes.

  • Physical Effort: Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds. Heavier items are moved with assistance or using loading equipment.
  • Working Conditions: Work is primarily indoors. Exposed to cuts and bruises.
  • Rotating schedule. Duty hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • In consideration of COVID-19, personnel within this area routinely wear personal protective equipment (cloth face coverings, latex gloves, and face shields) while performing their regular duties

Qualifications

No work experience required.
Candidates must be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.

Skill and Knowledge:
Recognizes shortages of supplies and replaces them as necessary.
Ability to use knives and automatic slicers.
Able to serve simple drinks under the close guidance of the Bartender.
