IT and Digital Manufacturing Operations and Support SME plays a critical role in ensuring the operations of digital applications and technology solutions for Manufacturing domain (IT services for Manufacturing organization). This position is accountable for the service delivery (Outsourced & Insourced) for TechOps perimeter, provide expertise on applications, manage security and application lifecycles.

The IT and Digital Manufacturing Operations and Support SME will be responsible for the execution of Manufacturing Business application services with our IT partners, ensuring business users satisfaction, driving the continuous improvement to enhance the level of services for our Business.

Main Responsibilities

Business processes understanding

  • Excellent understanding of Business organization’s goals and objectives, processes and operations, understand data integration between applications in the business domain both internally and externally to the organization
  • Contribute to the analysis of business problems and the translation of business requirements into successful technical solutions and processes to deliver business operations
  • Analyze business operations to determine opportunities to optimize, Business services, automate processes and data flows
  • Support development of Business Digital and Tech roadmap

Business stakeholder management

  • Actively facilitates and participates in technical and business discussions to define service delivery objectives and align with business objectives
  • Performs risk analysis and mitigation, coordination with IT Business Partners for demand management and resource planning
  • Develops and manages strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels (IT, Business, external partners)
  • Works closely with the business functions to establish service delivery requirements and identify the most appropriate solutions

Business services Delivery, continuous improvement, control, monitoring and governance

  • Ensures overall operations meet business expectations and internal standards, budget, KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Communicates updates to the relevant stakeholders, instances at defined intervals
  • Prepares management decisions together with the team and presents these decisions in a timely manner
  • Ensure service transition of applications from build to operations.

Vendor relationship and contract management

  • Monitor the contract lifecycle, service credits and incentives
  • Ensures partners meet their service delivery commitments
  • Actively pursues opportunities for improving the vendor partnership, contract terms, introduction of innovative services and efficiencies

Business innovation and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Identifies and communicates potential opportunities for Business innovation to IT domains.
  • Recommends business process and system changes to innovate and improve efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Defines innovation initiatives with IT Business Partners and key business stakeholders and leads these collaborative initiatives to drive efficiencies and obtain synergies

Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited institution in business, IT or project management. Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • At least 8 years relevant experience in a global organization; preferably in Biopharmaceutical industry
  • Managed application outsourcing contracts with provider(s)
  • Fluent English / Conversational French would be a plus
  • Knowledge of LIMS Labvantage, Waters Empower, Rockwell automation MES Pharmsuite and/or RapidResponse
