We are seeking a experienced Head of Network and Security with a strong background in managing network and security teams to join our dynamic organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, including consulting, engineering, and operational activities, specifically for the German region. This role requires an individual with extensive experience and a proven track record of leadership in network and security domains. Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the network and security teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive network and security solutions, addressing the unique needs of our diverse customer base.
- Ensure the optimal performance, security, and availability of network infrastructure by assuring the implementation of best practices.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network and security configurations, changes, and incidents, adhering to company guidelines and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the network and security teams.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring the development of technical skills and expertise.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of network and security initiatives with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network and security management, with a focus on service delivery and operational activities.
- Proven experience in managing and leading network and security teams.
- Experience in carrier network is a plus
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing network and security solutions using a variety of technologies and products.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Advanced German language skills, at least C1 level.
- Interest in SD-WAN technologies and their application in modern network environments.
