Decathlon Switzerland is at the heart of an exciting transformation, and we’re looking for a Head of Digital Engineering to join our dynamic Digital Team, reporting directly to our Head of Digital. With 38 stores, over 1,000 teammates, and exciting plans for new openings, we are in the early stages of an ambitious journey. As part of our growing team, you will contribute to strategic projects that enhance our technical, e-commerce, and omnichannel capabilities, while supporting our mission to make sports accessible to as many people as possible. As our Head of Engineering IT, you will have 3 main responsabilities : 1. Strategic leadership - Define and implement strategy: Lead the creation of a Technical Engineering Plan (2025-2027), ensuring alignment with Decathlon Switzerland’s priorities and delivering impactful technical solutions. Create a clear roadmap with measurable KPIs, aligning technical investments with business priorities. - Adapt to governance evolution: Identify areas for local value while effectively collaborating with Decathlon United on centralized initiatives through clear business cases and follow-ups. 2. Technical oversight and collaboration- Ensure platform stability and security: Oversee the performance, reliability, and cybersecurity of Decathlon Switzerland’s digital platforms in compliance with Swiss regulations. - Support innovation: Drive the development of local digital solutions to enhance services like rentals, second-life products, repair, and B2B/C2C initiatives, contributing to a seamless omnichannel experience. - Lead cross-functional projects: Deliver new technical capabilities in collaboration with key business units, improving customer satisfaction and business results. 3. Team Leadership- Manage and develop talent: Lead a team of four experts (two focused on circular services and two front-end developers), fostering collaboration, personal growth, and a culture of high performance. - Be a "bridge": Act as a connector between Decathlon Switzerland, Decathlon Group IT, and local teams, driving cooperation and alignment.
