Job description:

As the Head IT Intake Systems, you will spearhead a DevOps team that champions the design, development, and day-to-day operation of our global Input systems. These systems are instrumental in aggregating vital financial data from over 1’600 diverse sources across the world, emphasizing stability, security, and reliability. Embracing agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban, you will be pivotal in driving the evolution of our platform to meet future requirements. Operating directly under the Head IT Data Factory, you will also contribute to shaping the department’s strategy and serve as a strategic ally to our business stakeholders.     What You Will Do

• leadership: direct a DevOps team of approximately 30 engineers spread across Switzerland and Poland, overseeing the complete lifecycle of Intake applications and services, from inception to regular operations
• strategic alignment: sync team objectives and resource deployment with company goals and roadmap. Engage deeply with business stakeholder to define, prioritize, and execute transformative initiatives
• operational excellence: uphold exceptional service standards in line with our SLAs. Ensure our procedures and services align with governance, risk management, security protocols, compliance mandates and meet all regulatory benchmarks
• visionary planning: set the future course for applications, including pivotal platform and tech choices, ensuring they are in tune with our target architecture

What You Bring

• master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent blend of education and experience
• a seasoned tech leader with a rich track record spanning 10+ years, demonstrating proficiency in building and steering dynamic distributed teams. Fluent English communication and negotiation acumen are a must, with German being an added advantage
• a knack for forging strong connections and propelling innovation/transformation across organizational structures, processes, and technologies, especially in a fast-paced environment
• at your core, you are a Software Engineer, but you never shy away from thinking big-picture, strategizing while maintaining hands-on involvement
