Under the supervision of the Tech Office Manager, the Technical Support Engineer is involved into technical tasks, quality missions and management activity.
By his functions, he will follow the activity of the technicians in term of organization and as a technical support. In addition, he will grant the quality of the provided service.
He will also be involved into technical tasks directly in contact with end customers for all applications.

Management activity :
- Organise and follow the daily activity through C4C for all technicians
- Prepare quotations for commissioning, calibration & repair/service tasks
- Follow yearly calibration of reference equipments
- Organize and archive lessons learned or relevant technical information
Quality tasks :
- Keep quality documents up-to-date in accordance with ISO 9001
- Participate to ISO 17025 certification activities
- Support the quality manager to maintain the quality environment
Technical tasks :
- Development of calibration and repair capabilities of the laboratory
- Development of means of calibration for onsite services
- Development of new services such as contracts, rental process etc.
- Provide technical support to field service technicians for all applications
- Undertake fault diagnosis and minor repair of measuring systems and instruments
- Provide technical support to customers; including remote diagnostics and suggestions for troubleshooting (hotline)
- Assisting with customer trials and demonstrations in conjunction with the responsible Outside Sales Representative
- Deliver technical training to customers; including collation of training documents and provision of hardware as required
- Fabricate and repair cables and assemblies
Additional responsibilities could include:
- Organise and undertake the calibration of pressure, charge & force devices in the laboratory
- Maybe required to organise and carry out commissioning of systems on customer sites
- Receive and dispatch returns and repairs
- Assist with configuration and provision of loan and exchange devices
Dein Profil
Essential
Experience and understanding of industrial process and control systems, measurement principles, technologies and applications
Experience in plastic injection molding process
A proven track record in similar hands-on, customer facing roles
Bachelor or Masters degree in a technical (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics …) area At least 10 years experience in a relevant field
Communication skills, written and verbal, in both mother language and English
Driving license B
Desirable
Previous experience in an industrial environment
Experience in instrument calibration and repair
