We are seeking a Supply Planner in our Planning Team located in Barcelona. The Supply Planner - Deployment is responsible of achieving desired Service targets for the region, keeping an optimal stock level in the network, avoiding Service and Inventory losses and leading initiatives for continues improvement making sure we have the right product, at the right time and place in the qty required.

What Will You Do?

  • Working closely with Supply Planners - Manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Service (DIFOT) management - Back Order resolution and prevention - Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Planning master data management for warehouses.
  • Inventory management - Safety Stock calculation, replenishment strategies, Excess and Obsolete stock resolution and prevention for Finished Goods
  • Responsible to manage appropriate stock levels in the EBS network, owning the DOS, DOH metrics to achieve the desired KPI Phase In / Phase Out execution and Network optimization when and where required.
  • Create stock transfers to mitigate identified shortages in the network in order to achieve the defined service target.
  • Follow up on potential backorders situations in the EBS Warehouses and support in resolving service issues related with stock availability (both active and preventive) ZFGD.
  • Identification of gaps in the distributions plan (vs business requirements), and co-ordination of the development and execution of actions to address supply gaps.
  • Liaise with Demand Planners, Customer Services, Logistics and Warehousing to address prioritizations in order to prevent service issues in the customer facing locations where risks have been identified.
  • Maintain MRP settings in the planning system (planning strategies, service level, safety stock levels...) and drive product life cycle management through Phase in /Phase out process for their respective countries.
  • Analysis of risk inventory and propose structural fixes, extending warehouse shelf life in alignment and collaboration with Inventory Team, Local Demand Planning in order to achieve KPI’s and a healthy inventory position
  • Address inventory imbalances in the network in order to avoid service impact, as well as overstock and potential E&O and implement corrective actions.
  • Run the root cause analysis in stock availability service issue for the assigned region area following 5 why Methodology.
  • Utilizes project management skills to participate in and/or lead small to medium scope/business impact continuous improvement activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study.
  • 2 - 4 years of work experience in supply chain planning, finance, marketing or a related analytical discipline.
  • Ideally experience in Kinaxis or any Advanced Planning System
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office and SAP
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with different audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics
  • A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability for using a strategic mindset
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
