You Are:

The ideal candidate for the R&D Engineer, Staff position is an innovative thinker with a deep understanding of logic synthesis, logic optimization, and the EDA flow. You possess advanced problem-solving skills and are proficient in programming languages such as C and C++, along with scripting languages like Perl, TCL, Bash, and Python. Your expertise in logical optimization allows you to enable your team to deliver outstanding projects and new features, particularly to improve PPA. With a thorough understanding of logic optimization, you are capable of providing novel features to improve PPA for our customers. You are a seasoned professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates effectively, and has a proven track record of driving significant technological advancements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing novel techniques for performance, power, and area improvement for Fusion Compiler and Design Compiler.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality EDA solutions.
  • Debugging and resolving complex issues in the EDA flow.
  • Implementing advanced algorithms in C/C++ to enhance performance and functionality.
  • Creating and maintaining scripts in Perl, TCL, Bash, and Python to automate workflows.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
