Senior Software Test Engineer (SDET) - Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join the team and further enhance their ability to deliver exceptional testing solutions to our clients.

Position Overview

As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of the team, leveraging your extensive experience and expertise in software testing. You will work as a participating consultant, collaborating with a wide range of customers to improve their software testing processes. Your deep understanding of context-driven testing and technical skills will be instrumental in guiding their clients toward more effective and efficient testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Consulting: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on software testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
• Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies tailored to the specific needs of each client project.
• Testing Execution: Lead and participate in the execution of tests, ensuring that software products meet quality and performance standards.
• Test Automation: Design and implement automated testing solutions to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and share your knowledge with the team and clients.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives and goals.
• Mentoring: Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  
  

Qualifications

• A solid foundation in software engineering, with a deep understanding of software development processes and principles
• Develop functioning software program inc unit tests in an OOP Language (Python, Java, C#. etc)
• Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably at a senior level.
• A demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning, staying current with the latest testing methodologies and technologies.
• Proficiency in German, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with German-speaking clients.
