YOUR IMPACT
As a Senior Legal Counsel you will:
- Oversee all aspects of international project finance transactions (e.g. real estate, depots, terminals, etc) but also asset financing (e.g., container carriers, cruise vessels, ferries, boxes, locomotives, aircraft, etc), corporate financing (e.g. confirming, securitization, RCF, etc) and financial products (ISDAs, cash investment products, etc).
- Document Review: Examine, comment and negotiate legal documents related to project finance, corporate and asset financing or financial products, including loan agreements, mortgages, leases, security documents, schedule to ISDA Master Agreement, cash investment products, etc.
- Document Drafting: Draft legal documents related to any financing or investments.
- Transaction Management: Prepare and participate in all stages of project finance, corporate or asset financing transactions, including preparation, negotiation, closing, and post-closing formalities.
- M&A Due diligence: Implement financings due diligence as part of M&A transactions
- Legal Research: Conduct brief legal research on English and/or French law primarily, and occasionally other laws, regarding all aspects of project finance, corporate or asset financing.
- Administrative Duties: Implement procedures to streamline team operations, including expense validation, updating departmental records, and managing the archiving system.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Legal degree required.
- Preferably with a focus on French law and/or English law. Ideally qualified as a Solicitor or Avocat, minimum 5-7 years of experience in private practice.
- In-depth understanding of project finance and/or corporate, asset finance.
- Excellent command of English and French.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (transaction-based position).

- Based in Geneva.

- EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit is required.
