What exactly you will do here:

Design and continuously adapt the infrastructure system landscape to ensure that the group has a strong foundation that can enable strategic business transformation projects

  • Document the current infrastructure architecture and architecture changes in adequate tools (e.g. Visio)
    Evaluate existing infrastructure systems for simplification possibilities and for exposure or weakness that could compromise performance, security, or efficiency
  • Determine gaps in our infrastructure capabilities, propose relevant changes
  • Occasionally provide technical hands-on support during project implementation


What we're looking for:

Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in computer science or informatics or a comparable education

  • 3 years Experience as IT architect in an infrastructure domain (e.g. cloud, compute/containers/Kubernetes, network), in addition to relevant practical experience as an infrastructure engineer. Proficiency in cloud technologies, especially Azure/O365 is preferred
    Ability to look beyond individual systems and grasp the bigger picture of how things are interconnected and work together
  • Good communication skills and ability break down complex topics into easy-to-understand parts. Fluent English in speech and writing. German is an advantage
