We are looking for you to support our finance department at our Wallisellen location, in Zurich!

Senior Controller 100% (m/f/d)

As a Senior Controller you are in charge of producing accurate and timely Reporting and as well as on-demand analysis to meet the various stakeholders' needs: CFO, Board, Business, Region and Group. You are also in charge of the Forecasting and Budgeting process, supporting the CFAO and decision process.

What you can do

  • Production, analysis and enhancement of Reports and KPIs monitoring on regular (Monthly, Quarterly) basis on various scopes (different LoBs + various perspectives: Finance, Commercial and HR)
  • Participation to the monthly closings
  • Preparation or support of calculation and input for Technical Accounting, when applicable (e,g, premium reserving);
  • Budget and Forecast
  • Quality controls and process improvement to help improving the Business and Expenses monitoring (e.g. Marketing expenses, T&E expenses, Service Revenues, Acquisition Costs)
  • Support the CFO on the various business decks (e.g. Board, Business Review)
  • Enhance efficiency on financial reporting and other accounting processes
  • Develop, implement and maintain internal controls and guidelines to ensure the accuracy of the financial data and reporting
  • Participate to various projects initiated by Local or Regional Finance


What you bring with you

  • Degree in finance or accounting
  • In-depth knowledge and minimum 6 years of experience. Of which at least 2 years in a senior finance role
  • Insurance Business expertise, including strong business/finance assessment, controlling and forecasting skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge/experience with SAP/SAP Analysis, ERP and Policy Management systems and Advanced Excel
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Good relationship skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines with quality output
  • Proactiveness
  • English and German (fluent written and spoken)
