Position Summary

We are currently looking for a highly competent Regional Procurement Manager – Road Transport based in La-Tour-De-Peilz, responsible for managing commercial and sourcing activities within the Road Transport category.

Reporting directly to the Global Category Leader, you will be responsible for the implementation of the category strategy for spends on a regional level - utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in a life of a Regional Procurement Manager – Road Transport:


  • Contribute to the global sourcing strategy with regional inputs, implementation and communication plan and supplier management plan.
  • Communicate sourcing strategy to T-Hubs Teams and ensure full alignment to secure successful implementation.
  • Identify appropriate suppliers for the spend category selected in collaboration with markets and HQ functions.
  • Preparing and executing negotiation events - seeking best TCO contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers as approved by the Category Procurement managers.
  • Lower Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Monitoring market trends impacting the smooth implementation contracts and impacting our TCO (Total cost of ownership)
  • Ensure that all the key suppliers within the spend category in charge completely adhere to Nestlé standards (Responsible sourcing, Reverse factoring, SHE certifications).
  • Constantly monitor Sustainable Road Transport solutions available on the market and implement them for Nestlé lanes.
  • Ensuring compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.


What makes you successful:


  • University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance or Engineering.
  • Proven success over a sustained period in delivering competitive advantage to the business within a global environment through development and implementation of sourcing strategies in the logistics environment, ideally with experience in Road Transport.
  • Ability to successfully lead projects and implement change.
  • Strong functional leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
  • Fluency in English is essential, other languages such as Italian, German or Polish is a big plus.
