The Program Manager (PM) will lead cross functional projects for the Brooks Automation CCS RS Group in Tägerwilen (Switzerland).

Overall Purpose of the Job:

The Program Manager (PM) will lead and coordinate a cross functional team which may include the following disciplines: Design Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, Manufacturing & Test Engineering, Materials, Planning, Quality, Document Control, Service, Finance, and outsourced Contract Manufacturing partners. The PM will be responsible for delivering high quality, well documented product solutions that meet and exceed the needs of all members of this team. The PM may also manage a portfolio of products for a key customer.

Your Responsibilities.

• Lead cross functional team in developing comprehensive project plans (scope, product and project cost, schedule and performance)
• Manages overall project plan of large cross functional projects and/or programs including optimizing the plan by negotiating content based on priorities, risk, resource, budget and timeframe constraints
• Leads team to deliver on all development milestones and checklist items.
• Leads development phase gate discussions and activities
• Ensures that all project resource requirements are met
• Create and maintain project risk management plan
• Tracks realized performance, adjusting to align with shifting priorities and reporting to senior management
• Develops solutions to remove project roadblocks
• Communicates with key customers about project status, deliverables, and risks
  
  

Your Experience And Qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and experience in a project management role involving tactical coordination of a technological product
• Proven ability to manage multiple or highly complex programs and have a successful track record of delivery from concept to commercialization
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality environments or similar.
• Familiarity with common industrial product regulatory compliance regulations such as CE, ROHS, REACH, NRTL, Copy Exact, etc.
• Familiarity with project management industry standard practices
• Strong Microsoft office software skills including MS Project
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proven interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills
• Ability to drive the process of reaching compromise and consensus among project team members.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
• Well organized with the capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience managing projects within a defined stage-gate development process desirable
• Project Management certification desirable
