Schneider Digital
is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Platform Manager to lead the onboarding, deployment, and operation of payment service provider platforms and services throughout Schneider Electric. These payment service provider platforms process customer's online payments for multiple use cases including marketplaces, webshops, MOTO sales, training, product and part sales, electric vehicle solutions amd more. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the lanscape of payment service provider platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance for diverse payment use cases throughout the Group. This is an exciting global role with high global exposure and a direct, tangible contribution to the strategic growth of e-commerce throughout the Group.
Main responsibilities:

  • Lead the onboarding, deployment, and operational management of payment service provider platforms for processing online payments across multiple use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements, payment methods, integration processes and operational workflows for various payment scenarios.
  • Manage relationships with payment service providers, achieving an effectve partnership to deliver efficient platform deployments and optimised performance.
  • Manage the validation, testing, operation and troubleshooting of payment provider platforms to ensure compliance, security, and optimal functionality.
  • Develop strong technicial knowledge of core Payment Service Provider solutions and use this to guide digital teams implementing integrations with the Payment Service Provder platforms.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to platform configurations, operational procedures, and integration best practices.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on using payment provider platforms for different use cases.
  • Manage one contractor and coordinate support resources in DTC Bangalore.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to payment service provider platforms.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high performing team of application analysts, engineers, and project managers, providing guidance, training, and career development opportunities.


Qualifications: What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance or a related field
  • A demonstrated pre-existing interest in e-commerce and online payments
  • Proven experience in managing the onboarding, deployment, and operation of digital platforms (not necessarily payment service provider platforms)
  • Preferably some understanding of online payment processes for marketplaces, webshops, MOTO sales, and other payment scenarios, although this can be developed over time
  • Preferably some knowledge of payment industry standards, compliance requirements, and security best practices, however this can also be developed in the role
  • Excellent project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and external partners
  • Awareness of waterfall and agile project manangement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English, Spanish is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMI-PMP, Certified Payments Professional) are a plus
