Zürich / Gotthardstrasse 44 Are you looking to join an exciting highly collaborative HR team? The HR Operations & Services team, as the backbone of HR, is responsible for ensuring that candidates and employees have a seamless experience from the first contact and throughout their career at Vontobel, aligning with our culture and values. The team provides HR support services and uses innovative solutions to make HR processes easily accessible, user-friendly and transparent.

In this role, you will support the Vontobel day-to-day business across all business divisions, often being the very first touch point for employees’ requests, in Switzerland and other various international locations.

Please note this is a maternity cover for 9 months and we are looking for someone able to work 100% and start as soon as possible.

What would your role be?

  • Basic administrative support such as reports, document scanning, mail handling
  • Answer inquiries from employees and line managers around HR services, policies and systems providing timely responses
  • Maintain employee data and e-files in our HR System (Workday)
  • Focus on daily HR operation processes and delivery of HR services including correspondence with employees, line mangers and employment authorities
  • knowledge and experiences with team members and across HR, contribute to knowledge base
  • Maintain HR Ticketing System and continuously improve its knowledge database
  • Assist in special tasks such as event organization, initiatives, register of commerce maintenance, etc.

What are we looking for?

  • 1 to 3 years of work experience in a commercial/professional role within an international organization; experience in an international HR organization/ HR service center is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of Swiss HR processes, tools and labour laws
  • HR education such as HR Assistant (Personalassistent/-in) is an asset
  • High IT and process affinity (good MS Office skills and knowledge of a major HCM system such as Workday)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German. Proficiency knowledge in any other language is an asset
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, high customer orientation, autonomy, positive team spirit
