Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
In our Analytical Chemistry business unit, we design and produce innovative measuring instruments that have an excellent image and footprint in the market. In order to strengthen the Research and Development team at our global headquarters in Greifensee Zurich, we are looking for a committed, goal-oriented and independent Hardware Test Engineer 100% (all genders).

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

* You support key development projects by ensuring the proper functionality of analytical instruments, with a specific focus on hardware testing
* As Test Engineer, you will create test plans as well as test cases based on the product requirements, estimating the resources, required time and capacity needed for them
* You will be responsible for the quality of the documentation and the discussion of the results with the corresponding project team
* Definition and continuous maintenance of test processes to ensure regulatory guidelines.
* Support specific issues from marketing, service and customers related to hardware failures
* In this position, you will strongly contribute to the design, functionality, and success of the future analytical instrument portfolio of METTLER TOLEDO

What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:

* You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or natural science ideally with first experience as a Test Engineer (hardware testing, software testing or both)
* You are detail oriented with a high sense of quality and you describe yourself as a very well self-organized person
* Your experience with Azure DevOps is a big advantage
* Additional skills in software development are a plus (Python, MATLAB, C++).
* You are fluent in English, German is a big plus
