Mission
As ESG Data Manager, your mission will be to lead the collection, management, and analysis of ESG data, empowering the bank to make informed decisions that align with its sustainability strategy and regulatory obligations.
Main responsibilities
In this role, you'll need to ensure data accuracy and consistency across diverse sources while staying current with evolving ESG regulations. You will balance integrating ESG data into investment models with broader organizational goals, ensuring timely compliance with global standards. Additionally, you'll collaborate across departments and external partners to implement the broader sustainability data strategy of the bank.
ESG Data Collection and Management:
- Maintain UBP’s ESG data infrastructure for collecting and managing ESG data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability for internal investment tools and external reporting.
- Engage with internal and external data providers to constantly enrich UBP’s ESG data infrastructure.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Analyse and model ESG data to provide insights supporting the sustainability research efforts of the bank.
- Supervise the production and development of proprietary UBP ESG models that drive investment decisions and corporate strategy.
- Collaborate with ESG investment specialists, portfolio managers and risk teams to integrate ESG factors into risk assessments and investment models.
Diffusion of ESG expertise:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the frictionless distribution of ESG models to the bank’s front-office systems.
- Take part in structural projects to strengthen the bank’s ESG reporting capabilities.
- Offer support and guidance to users of ESG models.

Education
- Education: Master Degree
- Certification: Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or another scientific field.
Technical skills: Knowledge of a programming language (ex: Python, Java). • Knowledge of a scripting language (ex: SQL
Experience
- Years of experience: 0-3 : beginner
- Experience required: Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field, preferably within financial services.
Experience in private banking: Mandatory
