The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for a Country Sales Manager for Switzerland. As a Country Sales Manager, you are responsible for leading a team of Account Managers, selling Nutanix’s Products and Solutions through Channel Partners, and interacting directly with Commercial and Enterprise customers. You will also work closely with the Sales Engineering Manager, Marketing Manager, and Channel Manager in the country.

Our sales team at Nutanix has a keen ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned accounts. Nutanix provides unrivaled support and tools from the Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development departments for you to leverage to exceed sales performance goals.

In this position, you will have a large amount of influence on sales team decisions and initiatives and report directly to General Manager, SEUR.

Your Role

  • Demonstrate and apply strong solution selling techniques to drive sales growth in the region.
  • Foster and accelerate growth within the region by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Build and develop both individuals and teams to achieve high performance and contribute to overall success.
  • Take leadership responsibility for a team of 4 direct reports, including leading and supporting their efforts.
  • In the first year, aim to achieve double digit growth, accelerate the sales of the complete product portfolio, and exceed new logo sales in the region.

What You Will Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience as a people manager within the Swiss customer market
  • Intense infrastructure and application-led sales background and an existing network within the channel eco-system
  • Experience that demonstrates a strong level of expertise in technical specifications required to sell Nutanix products and services is required
  • 10+ years of IT sales experience with strong stage presence and ability to engage and persuade (Press experience desirable)
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science; OR equivalent experience is required.

The role is focused on the Swiss market, but you will be part of a wider SEUR Team and partner closely together. Collaboration is at the core of everything we do, we have weekly team meetings and weekly one to ones and connect daily through slack channels.
