Field Service Engineer Full-time Job

As the Field Service Engineer, you will perform activities required for the installation, commissioning, start-up and technical support of Emerson instrumentation at customer sites.
You will be responsible for completing work according to the Emerson standards of safety and quality.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Solve customers problems related to process instrumentation (Flow, Pressure, Level & Temperature sensors and electronics)
  • Complete instrumentation maintenance tasks.
  • Perform instruments acceptance tests, installation, commissioning, training, fault analysis and rectification work at customer sites.
  • Finish the works (repairs, installations, training etc.) in accordance with guidelines and certifications.
  • Implement emergency call-out services to provide customers with fast and efficient services.
  • Complete the requested job in the best way to meet customer’s deadlines and expectations.
  • Properly communicate issues relevant to maintain customer satisfaction within the Emerson organization Tutoring customer training.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree or relevant experience in an engineering field, such as (but not limited to) electrical, electro-technical, computer science, instrumental and/or digital application.
  • Proven experience from Process Industry, Service Company, Industrial Company.
  • Practice on instrumentation calibration and installation.
  • Knowledge of basic fundamentals for measuring principles.
  • Good communications skills and fluent in Italian and English – written and spoken Car Driving-license!

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Technical competencies.
  • Availability to work non-office hours and perform call-out services, if applicable.
  • Availability to work offshore, if applicable. Availability to work to different places within Italy and/or other Countries (for installation, commissioning or solving, for a limited amount of days)
