The state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is crafted for large-scale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.
Role
- Independently lead, execute and coordinate technical and process-related (sub-)projects within the Project Engineering Organization.
- Lead engineering tasks in support of Captial Acquisition Requests, Bids/RFP, Engineering Design, Construction and CVQ.
- Responsible for scope, budget, safety, quality and schedule of assigned Projects.
- Support Global Engineering & MSAT with all activities surrounding client support & investment (facility fit-outs, engineering assessments, presentations/site tours et al.)
- Support the establishment of a Project PMO within the Lengnau Engineering organization capable of delivering significant CAPEX projects
- Act as a mentor to junior engineering colleagues and actively assist in the development of internal resources.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or local equivalent in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering
- 8 - 10 years experience or Master's degree + 5 years in the engineering field, preferably in the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical process industry.
- Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility.
- Experience of multi-cultural work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German or another European language
- Some domestic and international travel may be required as dictated by the needs of the projects
