About the Role

We are looking for a Software Licensing Specialist to oversee customer licensing agreements and be responsible for the creation and maintenance of license keys for our Customers. This position requires a detailed understanding of the legal and business aspects of Customer contracts, ensuring that all parties adhere to the terms and conditions set out in the license agreements.

The Licensing Specialist is an operational role, working closely with the business and the support teams (Legal, Finance, Contract Management, Billing) to facilitate a smooth implementation of agreements, monitor compliance, manage license renewals and amendments as required.

This full-time position is based at our offices in Basel, Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and company policies
• Manage software license keys for new and existing Customers
• Review and process applications for licenses, ensuring all required documents are submitted and criteria are met
• Coordinate internally with the business and support Genedata teams to ensure the timely delivery and resolution of license key issues
• Generate the license keys in SalesForce
• Develop and implement procedures and reporting for the licensing process

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or Law, or other higher education with studies in Business studies, or Legal principles, or Administration
• Ability to decipher complex legal documents
• 2 years of work experience in a business administration, or Public Administration, or Legal, or Contract Management environment
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good IT skills, ideally experience with SalesForce
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), German is a plus
