About Parameta Solutions Parameta Solutions (PS) is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting. Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, with specific experience working in large, global, listed groups like TP ICAP. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements. Role Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards and regulatory obligations, ensuring full compliance.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors, working with colleagues to provide the necessary documentation. Plus support any internal audit reviews and requests.
- Prepare monthly management accounts including informative commentary, with support from finance colleagues, to meet PS and group deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to PS senior management for decision-making.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls for financial reporting, adhering to relevant control frameworks i.e. Financial Reporting Council’s Corporate Governance Code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- As the technical subject matter expert remain up to date on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, brief colleagues and implement any necessary changes.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for the Board of Directors.
- Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the financial reporting function and work to implement best practices.
- Support the integration of new systems and tools to enhance financial reporting capabilities.
Experience / Competences Essential
- Hold a professional accounting qualification, with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Deep experience of financial reporting, within a division of a global, large business including consolidations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and internal controls for financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with finance ERPs and reporting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Desired
- Experience in the financial services or data analytics industry is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
