We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our SAP Central Finance integration team as a Sr. Technology Specialist. We look for an experienced IT professional with a strong techno-functional background, who will also provide insights and solutions for financial and management reporting needs and has the ability to design efficient and scalable solutions.

The role
In this role, you will be accountable for developing and maintaining interfaces, ensuring the smooth integration of data and processes between external systems to our SAP Central Finance platform. This role requires expertise in BODS (Business Objects Data Services) and Axway Accounting Hub, along with a solid understanding of SAP Central Finance.
This role requires a deep understanding of Management Accounting processes and the ability to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Interface Development: Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between external systems and SAP Central Finance using BODS and Axway Accounting Hub.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of external systems with SAP Central Finance.
- Communication: Maintain seamless communication between financial and IT teams, ensuring data accuracy and improving cost efficiency in financial operations.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for interface-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Define data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate and consistent data flow between systems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of interfaces to ensure data integrity and compliance with business requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement, optimization and automation. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to system integration and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaborate with other Solution Architects and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and modules within the SAP landscape.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Data/system integration processes and provide guidance to business stakeholders on system capabilities and limitations.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing interfaces for SAP Central Finance.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with BODS and Axway Accounting Hub.
- Techno-functional expertise in SAP Central Finance, including a solid understanding of its architecture and integration capabilities.
- Significant experience in delivering and supervising major, complex, and business-critical SAP projects, particularly in Central Finance implementations.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP Central Finance.
- Experience in the finance or accounting domain, with a good understanding of financial processes, systems and data model concepts.
- Proficiency in data mapping, transformation, and data quality management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
- Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in interface development.
- SAP certifications in relevant modules, such as SAP Central Finance or BODS.
- Ability to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at a senior level.
- Experience in project management and consulting roles.
Bonus Points If You have:
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP integration technologies (e.g., IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs).
- Good understanding of Snowflake in the context of reporting and interfaces.
- Experience with other integration tools and technologies, such as SAP PI/PO or Dell Boomi.
