About the Role: We are looking for a Sales Analyst (f/m/d) to join our team at our sales office in Barcelona. In this role you will be responsible for the development and deployment of Field Sales insights and analytics, including territory development, sales effectiveness analytics for relevant product lines across Medical. Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing the Sales Leadership Team with sales performance, opportunity, and supply chain program effectiveness measurements, from both direct and indirect channels.


This position will be located at our facility in Barcelona, Spain, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytics support for the regional Sales Team using state of the art reporting and analysis tools, including close collaboration with key cross functional stakeholders for the region (Product Specialists, Strategic Marketers, Business Leaders, Sales Operations, Sales Support, and Customer Service) to support business needs
  • Provide sales performance analytics to support the regional Sales Team with data and insights to promote effective sales processes, for both direct and indirect channel while facilitating hands-on management of data structures including absolute assurance of data integrity
  • Collaborate with the regional Field Sales Team and Channel Sales Team to ensure they have the key information required to successfully manage and support the relationship with their customers
  • Collaborate across the regional analytics team (both sales and marketing analytics as required) to ensure key sales data is centrally available, while maintaining data integrity, using advanced visualization tools to analyze direct and indirect customer information to identify sales and profit improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with the regional Sales Team to formulate ASP scenarios and forecasts for sales growth and/or profitability goals
  • Provide territory analyses to determine the overall effectiveness of deployment strategies and sales objectives
  • Participate on cross-functional teams to facilitate an enhanced understanding of available data, analyses, and systems
  • Maintain the data quality and integrity of the regional Sales Associate Territories while ensuring optimal territory alignment for regional Field Sales Leadership
  • Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
  • Additional responsibilities as required within the scope of position


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Math/Statistics, Economics, Accounting or Finance
  • At least 3 years of total analytics work experience
  • Experience with business intelligence and dash boarding tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView, etc.)
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and analyzing large data sets
  • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated while demonstrating strong team focus
  • Strong business acumen, good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel 15%


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in business analytics consulting including experience in Sales Analytics, Contract Analytics and/or Pricing Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving capabilities and interpersonal skills (both written & verbal)
  • Ability to solve unique business problems and report on metrics, work and communicate effectively with members of all levels of our organization, handle large amounts of transactional data and determine trends, work in a fast paced environment, ability to take on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
