Job Description:
An opportunity for a Process Engineer has arisen within Airbus Commercial, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Work Preparation Team within Manufacturing Engineering Organization.
The Manufacturing Engineering community has the ambition of co-developing and delivering a sustainable and resilient industrial system for the operations of today and tomorrow.
In Getafe Plant organization, the team is diverse and multidisciplinary, and works in contact with the rest of the organizations to ensure the delivery of our products within high quality standards, while developing new technologies for our future.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
1- Developing performance trackers in coordination with the Production department, with the objective of achieving an optimal work balance and defining the necessary skills on the shopfloor.
2- SAT, Red space and White space calculations.
3- Defining and establishing Standard Operating Instructions : translation of assembly processes, drawings, conditions of supply (CoS), normative, industrial means, safety mindset, IT tools and Control Plan inputs, into unequivocal assembly operations definition.
4- Defining the Condition of Supply with the supplier.
5- Definition and deployment of Improvement projects in order to achieve more robust processes, time and cost reductions, task digitalization, ...
6- Shopfloor continuous support .
7- Drawing signature in concurrence with the Design department.
SKILLS

Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 5 years in Manufacturing Engineering.
Soft skills : High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
Languages: Advanced level in English.
Technical knowledge : AVL2, time calculations with MTM-TiCon, drawings verification, concurrence engineering, CFRP and metallic assembly processes knowledge, advanced level of CATIA,…
Valuable / Nice to have: curiosity and open mindset.
