For one of our clients, with whom we have a long-standing and international partnership, we are looking for an experienced Linux Systems Engineer (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities will include working on diverse tasks such as maintaining system performance, enhancing research environments, and implementing automation. We are looking for a candidate who is experienced in system engineering and possesses strong problem-solving skills.

The location is Dublin.

Tasks

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our internal systems
• Oversee and improve the performance of complex computing infrastructure
• Streamline technical operations and address various infrastructure challenges
• Resolve hardware and software anomalies
• Implement and manage operating system updates
• Conduct thorough analysis to optimize system performance
• Utilize scripting techniques to automate routine tasks

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of setting up, managing, and resolving technical issues related to Linux systems
• Familiarity with command line tools in Linux/UNIX environments
• Proficiency in utilizing tools for configuration management
• Experience in scripting with Python or Shell
• Strong focus on meticulousness when managing and troubleshooting production services
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
