Our Research Group on Epidemiology of Mental Disorders and Ageing headed by Dr. Haro is currently looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team.

Our research focuses on the epidemiology of mental disorders and the analysis of treatment results. Our research activities include studies on: the epidemiology and social impact of mental health disorders in general, and the evaluation of treatments in both primary and specialised care. More recently, our area of expertise has expanded to the mental health promotion and prevention, and the development and analyses of effective interventions for different target groups.

Our group is part of the Centre for Biomedical Network Research on Mental Health (CIBERSAM) and is a consolidated group recognised by AGAUR (2017SGR 1361). Link of the research group:

As a group, we have extensive experience in the coordination and participation in international research projects, amongst which several Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects. The Junior Project Manager will have a supportive role in the implementation of these projects.

Responsibilities:

In close collaboration with the research team, you will:

  • Provide administrative support in the elaboration of scientific documents, minutes, and reports
  • Assist in the organisation of meetings, workshops, conferences and other project-related journeys
  • Collaborate in the management and preparation of documentation for project monitoring, including tracking and managing timelines
  • Support in the preparation of presentations, guidelines and informative documents
  • Engage in team meetings, offering ideas and insights to drive project success
  • Foster a positive team culture and collaborate to achieve project objectives

  • The post holder will be contracted for 8-9 months (depending on starting date), with a possibility of extension

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably but not necessarily in life or social sciences
  • High level of spoken and written English (C1 level or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and experience in managing international research projects will be considered a plus, although we welcome candidates without previous experience
  • Experience in research activities will also be valued
