International Project Manager – Craft Worldwide
Location: Barcelona
Reporting to: Client & Team Lead
Role as International Project Manager…
As International Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in the business and will contribute to the smooth running of various production projects. You’ll work alongside various other agencies within Interpublic Group on complex and rewarding work. You’ll be an expert in managing production projects from brief through to final delivery, ensuring that they are on time and within budget. You’ll thrive in a client focused environment, have great communication skills and be an expert in time management and organisation. We value delivery, quality, smooth process and profitability and the International Project Manager will be instrumental in the success of our internal production departments.

Your responsibilities;
Client Management
- Immersing yourself in the client's brand and offering while ensuring clients understand agreed workflows and managing them through processes
- Identifying training requirements and opportunities for clients to ensure their adherence to processes and improving workflow
- Setting and managing client expectations concerning deliverables and time frames
- Escalating all serious client issues to your line manager immediately and recommending solutions wherever possible
- Building strong day to day relationships with all clients and agency stakeholders
- Demonstrating the ability to write, prepare and present documents, presentations and reports that are tailored to each brand, style, preference, knowledge and experience
- Providing weekly status reports to clients (or at intervals pre-agreed with the client), accompanied by meetings and calls as per client needs
- Providing agendas and detailed contact reports following all client meetings
Production Management Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating between all relevant parties - internal (Print, Broadcast prod, Digital, social media dept, etc.) and external (Client and Agency)
- Consistently delivering against all contractual obligations include SLAs and KPIs
- Ensuring clear division of responsibilities for appropriate files at each stage of the project
- Where producers are involved, taking responsibility for ongoing communication, tracking project progress and status vs. schedules, timings, delays etc.
- Ensuring schedules, technical specs and copy dates are obtained and correct as well as report any delays to line manager
- Checking all materials (PDFs, emails, TVCs, content, etc.) and ensuring quality control procedures have been followed before sending to clients
- Knowledge of C+ or similar tool is an advantage
- Keeping line managers updated on the status of projects
- Collating any information needed for input to client reports and presentations
- Managing your workload effectively and highlighting to your Line Manager if support is required to ensure the successful completion of a project
- Managing all client projects from brief through to delivery ensuring final materials are on time and of the highest quality
- Managing, monitoring and updating all timelines and setting realistic expectations with clients
- Monitoring internal workflows, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations
Business Development Opportunities
- Striving to improve client and stakeholder relations
- Proactively seeking and identifying new revenue opportunities in existing clients or prospects and informing the Business lead
- Supporting the Business lead in developing proposals for any new revenue opportunities
Quality Control Responsibilities
Acting as a brand/QC guardian – supporting and ensuring brand guidelines/QC checklists and procedures are followed
Financial Responsibilities
- Scoping, bidding and forecasting all incoming projects
- Ensuring full compliance with all financial procedures and policies
- Helping develop initiatives to maximise profitability in projects, while keeping a high standard of delivery
- Ensuring reconciliation and billing of all projects in a timely manner
- Assisting with financial reporting and smooth running of the finance function
Required Skills …
- Fluent oral and written English is required – Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage
- Able to collaborate with strategic and creative teams, media and technology specialists, production teams, clients, and senior leaderships teams to deliver great creative work, effectively and efficiently.
- Creative & Strategic mindset - able to interpret and deliver large-scale briefs.
- Agility and curiosity to understand every facet of production innovations, media landscape and client’s business challenge.
- Experience managing international clients in multiple markets with multiple stakeholders
- Experience working in broadcast, digital, Social Media and print production
- Strong time management, prioritisation, project management skills
- Can do attitude and agility is a MUST as well as ability to work under pressure
