The position could based both in Morges (Switzerland) or Palermo (Italy)
Your Mission
Responsibilities
The position requires frequent travel (up to 70%) around the world to install and commission Omnisens monitoring solutions at customers’ sites. The work on-site includes following key responsibilities:
- Mechanical installation of the instrumentation
- Splicing and preparation of fiber optics cables
- Configuration and optimization in line with the requirements of the application
- Commissioning and post commissioning
- Customer training
- Software installation, upgrade and configuration
- Routinely complete administrative paperwork, such as daily/weekly report, technical report, expense report
- Serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems
Between on-site projects, the Field Service Engineer will perform other duties such as training, customer support, product industrialization and testing.
The new hired employee will follow a series of internal trainings in our facility to get the technical skills to work with our equipment. Following this training, the FSE will continue to enhance his skills in a shadow position accompanied with an experienced FSE.

- Good Software IT skills with knowledge in local area network (LAN)
- Good knowledge in Windows OS and its environment (Office); Linux OS is a plus
Profile
- Engineering degree in Automation, Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent Technician degree with minimum 3 years’ experience
- Willingness to travel without visa restriction in Europe, US and South America
- Valid driving license
- International experience is a plus
