ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
SITA Barcelona is on the lookout for recent graduates to join our Skystar Program within the Engineering & Technology function, initially for a 12-months period, with the potential for a permanent role.
As part of the program, for your 1st, 2nd and 3rd years in the company you will get the chance to experience rotations in different teams (we call them squads), each of them in charge of a different set of products. Qualifications:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Apply automation and software to any tasks or parts of the system that would benefit from it or are performed manually.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of DevOps tools.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of new Tools and its Lifecycle Maintenance.
- Help build a DevOps culture across the organization and reliability.
WHO YOU ARE
- Graduated (within the last 12 months) in Computer Science or related discipline or have relevant experience in software engineering.
- Basic programming skills and scripting skills are required.
- Familiarity with config management tool like Ansible/Puppet.
- Good Understanding of tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins/Bamboo/Gitlab etc
- Understanding of Linux operating systems and scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Theoretical or Hands-on experience in System Administration activities.
- Wiling to explore latest DevOps Tools, proof of concept implementation and technical documentation.
- Participate in DevOps Tools upgrades, installation, and life cycle maintenance.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipeline automation and deployment frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes – Good to have.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is a plus.
- Comfortable using cloud-related technologies such as Azure/AWS/GCP (Preferably Azure)
- Any past experience in Aviation domain is desirable.
- Attention to detail, working in an environment where precision and accuracy is required.
- Problem solving skills – ability to follow problems through to resolution.
- Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task with good management skills.
- Aware of Agile methodology and has passion for software and technology.
