Taleo’s success depends on the talent of its employees, therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic Head of IT – Private Banking for one of our clients:

• IT Strategy & Alignment: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the bank’s overall business objectives, focusing on digital transformation, security, and operational efficiency.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the bank’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network resources, ensuring reliability, scalability, and high performance.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place, in line with regulatory requirements for the banking industry. Oversee compliance with local and international banking regulations.
• Digital Transformation: Lead digital innovation projects, introducing cutting-edge technologies to enhance client service, improve operational workflows, and drive competitive advantage.
• Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring service quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
• Budget & Resource Management: Manage the IT budget, optimizing costs, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet strategic priorities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business unit leaders, senior management, and external stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business needs, providing technology advisory and support.

Required profile.

How do we imagine a future Head of IT?

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, within the private banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation within the banking industry.
• Fluent in both French and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering large-scale IT projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and adapt to a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with Swiss banking regulations and compliance requirements
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a proven track record of implementing successful IT strategies.
