Description
This is an exciting and challenging new role within adm’s Global Finance team. We are seeking a highly technical, commercially savvy individual who will lead the global FP&A function and support management with insightful analytics on performance, business projections, and financial modelling. We require a true business partner who can implement change, gain trust and deliver highly complex finance information in a succinct and clear manner to both finance and non-finance individuals. This role will be a great fit for someone who is adaptable, innovative and able to see the bigger picture. A confident, articulate and results orientated person who will thrive in a creative and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Planning: Lead the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and quarterly re-forecasts for the global business, delivering management presentations on performance and trends. Develop a comprehensive forecasting process, covering balance sheets and cash flow, and manage complex cash models to optimise working capital. Continuously assess performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Analysis: Evaluate monthly business trends, financial results, and key performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations. Prepare board decks, investor materials, and executive updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise business performance by identifying trends and opportunities.
- Process: Understand and improve reporting systems and their interaction with financial and forecasting tools. Implement new forecasting tools and processes, driving operational improvements through standardisation and technology utilisation.
- People: Engage with senior management across the business and manage a team of analysts, fostering engagement and professional development.
Skills and Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA preferred)
- Over 5 years of financial, commercial, or accounting experience
- Experience in complex, multi-entity, and multi-market environments
- Strong technical skills: database management, report automation, advanced Excel (Power Query/VBA), business planning software (Anaplan, SAP Analytics, Board; SAP Analytics implementation essential)
- Comfortable working under time pressure with a hands-on approach when necessary
- Excellent communication skills and confident presence
- Continuous improvement mindset and innovative thinking
