We are looking for Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team in Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize queries in SQL for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

• Perform data aggregation and transformation tasks, merging data from multiple tables into designated tables for reporting and analysis purposes.

• Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functionally to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the data warehouse

• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, ensuring high availability and data integrity.

• Write new and support existing complex data pipelines

• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in data engineering.

Qualifications: Required:

• Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries

• Solid experience with optimization of SQL queries both at modeling and execution levels

• Experience in writing and supporting data pipelines in python, (airflow, luigi or similar)

• Strong experience in debugging data related issues

Preferred:

• Dashboarding experience,complex representation and slicing for technical and end users

• Ability to read and understand strongly typed language such as C++

• Experience with python data stack (pandas, numpy, matplotlib)
