Your Job

The Marketing Brand Specialist is part of the Spanish Marketing Team and reports to the Spanish Marketing Manager. You are responsible for developing and executing the right marketing plans for Brooks partners offline and online, working closely with Sales, Marketing and Tech Rep teams to ensure a smooth delivery of our seasonal brand stories. Your goal is to increase the competitiveness and impact of Spanish Marketing on an organizational level through proactive management of the administrative marketing processes and supporting services.

Your Responsibilities:

    • Support the Marketing Manager with every step of execution of our retail plan to ensure best in class support to Brooks retail partners online and offline.
    • Activate integrated marketing plans for account segments (Buying Groups, Key Accounts, Field Accounts) aligned to the seasonal demand and sales plans for Spain.
    • Coordinate execution of agreed seasonal retail marketing and 'always on' POS programs across in-store and digital channels, ensuring activation plans are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Track and report on campaign execution and ROI, build monthly retail reports.
    • Monitor and action on budget planning process, using appropriate KPIs and preparing Marketing budget reports throughout the year.
    • Accompany Sales and Marketing Management to account meetings and tradeshows for retail marketing presentations and other commitments.
    • Responsible for the local Creative Asset bank, ensuring all relevant assets are downloaded and shared with the marketing team, identifying additional local market needs.
    • Maintain media & influencers relationships to align with brand strategy and key messaging.
    • Manage M3 PR seeding orders, tracking monthly orders sent, deliveries and budget (media, PR, IM, athletes and samples).
    • Provide hands-on support to the wider marketing team across Digital Media, PR, Influencers, Events and eCom as required.
    • Support direct to runner and retailers event productions and executions, plan event rollouts and required resources, supervise event execution and social media engagement on spot (running events & athletes sponsoring events).
    • Brand Events execution through the plan, social media strategy and content to amplify the interaction with runners within set budget. Special projects as assigned.


Your qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field.
    • 3 +years of relevant Retail Marketing Experience (brand, footwear, retail & lifestyle experience).
    • Good understanding of brand building and integrated marketing approaches.
    • Proven experience with marketing & communications mix at country level (ideally in an international environment).
    • Understanding and knowledge of administrative marketing (invoicing, budgeting, planning, reports).
    • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
    • Strong background in social media and digital activations.
    • Able to generate new ideas and creative solutions.
    • Driven & energetic, trend conscious.
    • Flexibility to work on own initiative or within team and cross-functional framework.
    • Excellent organizational and management skills: ability to multi-task, combining strategy and execution. Readiness to step in, to get the job done when needed (hands on attitude).
    • Fluency in Spanish and English.
    • Strong passion for the running enthusiast and practicing an active lifestyle.
