ACCOUNTANT TRAINEE

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

We are looking for an Accountant internship in the RtR department for 6 / 12 months. In this role, you will learn about how multinational Record to Report (accounting) department works. You will expand your knowledge of accounting area. You will learn about processes, multinational environment and financial acumen.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Overall: close cooperation with business partners to ensure month end close, quarterly reportings and corporate request timely submission and commit with Coty high quality standards.
• Support for Fixed Assets process. Contact with Local team and with SSC team to close the month.
• Support on monthly end close (MEC) calendar: accruals checks and statistics to be reported at corporate level.
• Support on requests of internal auditors for SOX review
• Support on requests of external auditors for Statutory Finance Statement review and EINF.
• Assist SSC Third-party team
• Assist Finance Corporate team in any request they do regarding reporting B/S or P/L, PPE, Quarterly Reporting Package.
• Support in Spanish official statistic reports
• Support in VAT Master data set up (new tax codes)
• Support and assist Indirect Tax related activities performed by the Indirect Tax Team

Essential:

• Recently graduated or currently studying (MBA or Masters in Business, Finance or Administration) – availability for an at least 6 months internship
• Good command of English and Spanish languages
• Microsoft Office, Excel experience
• Ability to use analytical thinking and logic to isolate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Able to handle / prioritize task and workload
• Ability to learn new applications/software systems
• Strong communication skills
• Team player

• SAP experience, knowledge
