Accounting and Revenue Unit – Finance Directorate We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and revenue Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a focus on public sector financial management.
Education and qualifications: Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economy, Business administration or a related field. Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (business level)

Experience and knowledge: Required:

• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience In-depth knowledge of public sector accounting principles and practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards Coordinate and complete annual audits. Ensure compliance with government regulations and funding requirements. Monitor and manage budget research allocations and expenditures. Billing team support. Bank reconciliations. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Labour conditions:

• Full-time position: 40h/week. Starting date: immediate Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale Contract
