Job Description

As engineering manager for our desktop apps teams, you are in the driver seat for different aspects like delivery, people development and technology.

You foster an environment for empowered engineers and free the way for their collective skills in order to make the best possible team decisions.

You understand that growing every individual in your team is a core asset for success and you know how to support them achieving their personal growth goals.

Responsibilities:

• You own the delivery process and continuously improve the efficiency of the team

• You ensure that engineering work is always aligned with the business goals of the team

• You push for decisions to be made effectively and remove blockers that impede team progress

• You build an excellent relationship with relevant peers in the team (product, design, data etc.) and align on key strategic decisions

• You set meaningful development goals for your reports and develop a related plan to achieve them

Qualifications

• A proven track record as a senior engineer

• Experienced in agile delivery processes

• Experienced in tech leadership and managing people

• Experience in desktop app development for Windows and/or MacOS
