We are looking for an Electronics Development Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Bordeaux, France (with possible missions in Brittany and Lyon)

Start Date: 18th November 2024

Contract Duration: 1 month

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Education: Bac+5 in electronics or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in analog and/or power electronics.
• Accreditation: BE ESSAI and TST mandatory (to be obtained before the start of the project).

Job Description:

• We are looking for an Electronics Development Engineer to join an electronics service team in Bordeaux. This role includes designing and testing embedded electronic systems, managing outsourced activities, and contributing to industrialization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Testing: Develop embedded electronic boards, write justification files and carry out tests.
• Subcontracting Management: Ensure the monitoring of schedules, reporting and cost control for certain subcontracted activities.
• Hardware Specification and Testing: Write board specifications and test procedures, supervise testing, and verify results.
• Documentation: Develop hardware specifications, validation procedures, as well as specific documents including MTBF calculations, safety analyses and test protocols.

Deliverables

• Write the specifications of the electronic boards and ensure traceability via the DOORS tool.
• Produce electronic schematics and justify design choices with written notes (calculations, simulations, prototypes).
• Develop functional validation and serial testing procedures.
• Ensure regular reporting to the Project and Line Managers, and participate in technical meetings with the client.
• Track electronic board components and manage obsolescence issues.
