Role

This is a role well suited to an ambitious Engineer, looking for the next challenge in their career, as an Electrical & Electronic Engineer you will:

• Provide complete electrical / electronic design solutions to improve product performance and reliability including all verification and validation activities.
• Support initiatives from design through to maturation of product and process. Familiar with Product Lifecycle Management control systems for configuration control.
• Someone who can problem solve to a solution, with a structured analytical approach
• It would be advantageous to have the following experience:
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems; hardware and software
  • PCB design experience with a good understanding of design concepts and component selection
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits from the transducer to the microcontroller input; considering cabling, connectors, signal strength, and noise/interference
  • Knowledge of Firmware development (ability to modify current Firmware)
  • Knowledge of power electronics, cabling routing and how to integrate into a complex instrument
  • Understanding of EMC, Low Voltage & Machinery Directives and other relevant standards
    

Required For The Success Of This Role

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical or Computing Engineering(QQI Level 8) with minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Consideration will also be given to individuals with alternative degrees if balanced by relevant technical experience. Recent graduates with applicable experience will also be considered.
• High paced individual who is eager and passionate in developing and delivering solutions in close collaboration with key stakeholders
• Readily accepts ownership, accountability, and responsibility
• An excellent team player who knows how to work in a team environment
