Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day client contact, incl. receipt and confirmation of instructions, preparation of client documentation, forms, agreements

  • Handling daily management of maturities (deposits, foreign exchange, options, bonds, loans)

  • Handling cash management of account balances as well as outgoing and incoming transfers

  • Support Client and Investment Advisors in identification of business opportunities to support team in achieving the set financial targets

  • Leverage Deutsche Bank product and service offering to attract new clients

  • Executing and booking all kind of financial transactions (i.e. bonds, equities, foreign exchanges, options, structured products, alternative investments)

  • Co-ordination of workflow between First and Second Lines of Defense across Business, Client Lifecycle Management, AFC & Compliance

  • Participate in active knowledge sharing and collaboration within business area

  • Identify and contribute to the improvement opportunities of internal processes and documentation

  • Assisting with account openings and periodic reviews, and application of KYC policies and procedures

  • Ensuring follow-up and regulations of outstanding client’s documentation

  • Ensure that business is conducted in line with cross-border rules and other policies and regulations

  • Assisting Client Advisors to manage client’s inquiries through the interaction with clients, internal departments, local and offshore teams

  • Preparing and organizing business trips, client events, marketing initiatives for Client and Investment Advisors

  • Handling various tasks inherent to the general administration of accounts

  • Ensuring follow-up of back-office related corrections

  • Complying with Swiss and internal rules/regulations and adhering to compliance standards

Skills

Technical Skills

  • English proficient, languages from Emerging Europe countries would be a strong advantage (e.g. Turkish, Hebrew, Russian, Ukrainian, Greek)

  • Proficiency - Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

  • Experience with Avaloq product suite and other commonly used banking systems

Personal competencies or skills

  • Client coverage/front office experience dealing with client requests, managing client expectations and delivering positive outcomes in line with internal policies and applicable regulation

  • Experience working with emerging markets clients, professional service providers (trustees, family offices, etc.)

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workflow

  • Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Problem solving and time management skills required to meet the demands of a heavy client contact area

Essential Expertise/Education

  • Experience in banking client facing or similar environment; must have minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience

  • Experience of liaison with clients from Emerging Europe coverage area (Turkey, Israel, Former Soviet Union, Cyprus, Greece)

Desirable Expertise/Education

  • Higher education

  • Any additional finance qualifications/trainings would be of an advantage

  • Experience of managing and training junior account managers would be of an advantage
