KNAPP Italia is building up a new team including a Resident Service Technician
Knapp Italia is building up their resident team at one of the biggest logistics centers in Europe for one of our customers – a world-wide leader in sportswear and fashion located in Mantova (MN). Equipped with the latest Knapp techniques, once completed, the system will require the employment of dedicated and motivated technicians who will keep it running on a daily basis, who will solve problems when or even before they occur, and who will contribute to its further improvement – all to the benefit and satisfaction of our customer. As a junior resident service technician, you carry out reactive maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to the highest standards and ensure high availability of the automated system. You will be thoroughly trained on the different pieces of technique we are using as well as our working methods. All our team members are part of our continuous improvement process. To ensure the availability of the site to our customer, our technicians work in alternating shifts which typically include one night shift per month. Roles and responsibilities:
It is your task to:
- Carry out servicing tasks on all parts of the system while observing established health and safety practices
- Intervene quickly when errors occur
- Communicate clearly with others and to troubleshoot efficiently
- Support the continual improvement process by using the information gained through trouble shooting for feedback and suggestions
- Ensure high availability of the equipment
Requirements for applicants
- You have a qualification in electrics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, IT or automation
- Ideally you have already gained a first experience in maintenance task
- You are able to read and understand mechanical layouts and circuit diagrams
- Working in a workshop is something that interests you
- You are able to communicate in the Italian language and ideally also in English
- But above all: You are enthusiastic to learn and to contribute to build up something from scratch and to make it work on the long run
