ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
Join a team of Pricing professionals in the heart of our finance organization. As our new Pricing Manager, you'll bring your expertise to a central role, shaping the Airports sector's pricing strategies. Your work will not only influence our company's profitability but will also set industry benchmarks. The role will support our SITA at Airports business. The mission is to empower our customers to deliver the ultimate travel experience with the most advanced, efficient and sustainable technologies. This is by bringing new efficient technologies to the airport sphere and providing market leading quality of service to all aspects of Airport Operations. We are looking to grow revenues and margins significantly through leveraging new technologies and innovations.
The Pricing Manager will play a pivotal role in this. He/she determines pricing strategies for various products and services to drive business profit and growth. This includes co-ordinating with Product and Finance Teams to establish the product value, the cost structure, the business strategies, and operating model.
A strong theoretical and practical understanding of pricing principles is a must. The Pricing Manager will also be heavily involved in maximising the use of internal and external data and collaborate in researching market best practice statistical techniques.
The ideal candidate must have strong general pricing and commercial experience with a proven track record for solving complex numerical problems to help find effective business solutions. The candidate will be part of a central Pricing team which sits within the Finance department
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
- Adapt pricing strategies to evolving market demands and customer/internal feedback.
- Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness in coordination with Business Performance (finance) team.
- Innovate and implement cutting-edge pricing models.
- Analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability of product and services.
- Define new business procedures, evaluate requirements and stimulate implementation or maintenance of pricing system (CPQ)
- Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database.
- Manage and supervise activities to ensure new price generation (and updates) and discrepancy resolution.
- Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.
- Perform partnering with purchasing, product managers and finance to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to market. This also requires working closely with marketing teams, thinking about the going rates for similar products in the industry, in order to remain competitive.
Qualifications:

- Mastery in pricing principles.

- Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.
- Rigorous attention to detail.
- Rich experience in the telecommunications, technology or network industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in complex numerical problem-solving.
- Proven success in developing impactful pricing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal, influence and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to transfer skills to colleagues and team members.
- Experience in the Airlines and Airport sectors would be ideal.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
