Company HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH Full time / Part time: The position can be filled in full or part time. Summary We are looking for a “Head of Solutions Engineering & SW Center (f/m/d)” for the “Solutions Engineering & SW Center” area at the Ulm location as soon as possible.

The “Solutions Engineering & SW Center” department is responsible for system and software engineering in the realigned Multi Domain Solutions (MDS) division. The Head of Solutions Engineering & SW Center is responsible for the results of his main department and is responsible for preparing and setting up the engineering organization within the MDS division for software solutions. Your Tasks

• Management of the main department to provide the associated development services within the agreed time, quality and cost framework
• Participation in the development and implementation of overarching strategies and measures (e.g. to optimize efficiency)
• Defining goals and expectations for the main department, derived from the overarching strategy
• Monitoring service provision, conducting reviews and initiating suitable measures to ensure development results
• Strategic competence and resource planning, taking into account external partnerships and service providers
• Active collaboration with other disciplines
• Further development of product families in line with current market and technology trends
• Ensuring organizational and supervisory duties within the area of responsibility

Your Profile

• Completed technical or scientific studies or equivalent
• Many years of management experience (disciplinary and technical), preferably in development teams
• Experience in project management of software projects
• Experience with the development and deployment of software as a product
• Experience with organizational changes and change advantageous
• Knowledge of system development in the defense industry advantageous
• Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate
• Open mindset, inspiring nature, clear value and results orientation
• Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, high assertiveness and strong communication skills, also in conflict situations
• Business fluent in German and English
